There is a book that God has, called "the
book of life."
When we stand in Heaven one day, that
book of life will be opened. Whosoever
does not have his/her hame written in
that book, the Scripture says, ends up in
the Lake of Fire and is lost forever.
In fact, the Bible has an awesome chapter
toward the end of this amazing book, which
talks about that set of events which takes
place for the people who are unsaved when
they pass from this world to the world which
is to come.
In Revelation 20:11-15 John speaks of the
great white throne judgment and the lake
of fire. A must read!

What a horrible difference death will be for
the person who is not a Christian. They are
not a child of God.
Jesus said about them, "Ye are of your father
the devil" (John 8:44). The person who is not
a Christian, when they die, goes into and
awful and terrible existence. Jesus said in
Luke 16:23, "in hades he lifted up his eyes,
being in torments".

Paul also said, "For we know that if our
earthly house of this tabernacle were dis-
solved, we have a building of God, an house
not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to
be clothed upon with our house which is
from heaven," 2 Corinthians 5:12
To the Christian, death should always be
the object of great expectation, because we
will be with the Lord.

The word 'DEATH' is a very sobering word
no matter what language it is spoken in. But
'DEATH' is a very different thing for the
Christian.
Death for the Christian does not mean the
end of life. It means the beginning of a real
life; a forever and ever life.
We see, ". . . .Jesus Christ. . . .hath abolished
death, and hath brought life and immortality
to light through the gospel" 2 Timothy 1:10

There is a generation of Christians who will
not die, but will be taken to be with Jesus.
Any Christian from the time of Jesus' death
until now, who dies physically, has a different
experience from the person who does not know
God's Son as Savior.
A Christian does not die. They fall asleep and
go to be with Jesus. There is that generation
and hopefully this one that will not even fall
asleep.

Even those Christians who do pass through
physical death, it is a minor experience.
The Bible tells us that because of the death
of Jesus, we have been delivered from the
fear of death; even though through fear of
death, we were all of our lifetime subject to
bondage (Hebrews 2:15).
Jesus when He died on the cross, took the
awful experience of death to Himself, that
He might give the thrilling experience of
eternal life to everyone who believes in Him.

Paul speaks of it "But I would not have you
to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as
others who have no hope. For it we believe
that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the
Lord, that we who are alive and remain
unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede
them who are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God, and
the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we
who are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the
Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with
the Lord.
Wherefore, comfort one another with these
words," 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
