The Tribulation Period may be
a wonderful time of evangelism,
as the Gospel of the Kingdom
goes to the ends of the Earth,
telling people about the
salvation of the Lord Jesus
Christ!

The Tribulation Period will
be an awful time in the
history of the world, but it
will also be a time in which
people will come to believe
in the Gospel of the Kingdom.

And they will tell others.

During the Tribulation, one
fourth of the population will
die, with the appearing of the
rider of the pale horse descri-
bed in the 6th chapter of
Revelation.

And then one third of the
balance of the world will die
when the terrible plagues of
Revelation chapter 9 come upon
the people.

Jesus spoke about the great
tribulation. He said it would
be worse than anything the
world has ever seen or will
see again.

And He said: "And except those
days should be shortened, there
should no flesh be saved. . .,"
Matthew 24:22

Many will be beheaded for their
love of Jesus.

They are the ones who cry out
from under the alter: ". . .
How long, O Lord, holy and true,
dost thou not judge and avenge
our blood on them that
dwell on the earth?"
Revelation 6:10

The new religion, being pagan,
Godless and Satanic, will be
rejected by many.

These people will become the
martyrs of the Tribulation.

They refuse to take the mark
of the beast.

So they will die for Jesus.

There is a new world government.

There will be a new age religion
but not the whole world buys into
it.

The result will be a disaster.

Many will die because they will
not take on this new religion.

Isaiah 41:10

The Antichrist and the False
Prophet who works with him,
call fire down from Heaven.

The Antichrist builds an image
of himself and demands that the
world worship him.

"And he had power to give life
unto the image of the beast,
that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause
that as many as would not wor-
ship the image of the beast
should be killed."
Revelation 13:15

Revelation 13 explains a new
religion.

The devil, using the Anti-
christ, is going the make
the world worship him.

So the new religion is Satan-
ic., Satan-worship.

It is humanistic, the people
worship both the beast and
the devil.

The Antichrist occupies the
temple. He put himself on a
kind of a throne and demands
that the people worship him.

The temple is profaned by
the Antichrist trying to
bring to pass a new
religion.

The Antichrist, who is
called 'the beast' in the
Bible, has plans for the
whole world, not just in
Israel.

After being 3 1/2 years
into the period called
the Tribulation, he decides
his plans would work better
if he were to make himself
as the god of the new
religion.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 says
". . .he, as God, sitteth
in the temple of God,
showing himself that he is
God,"

Israel builds a new temple.

The Israeli religion, Judaism,
experiences a revival at that
time.

Then, a person called the
Antichrist rises to power in
the world. He does it partly
because he has made a covenant
with the nation of Israel. He
is favored by the people of
Israel.

Maybe because of this covenant
he will put money and architec-
ture, etc into the building of
this temple. It would be an
object of envy again to the
world.

Throughout Israel's history,
the temple has been very
important.

As a new temple rises on the
Temple Mount, the city of
Jerusalem will become more
significant.

This will happen in the early
part of the Tribulation Period.

Israel will be delivered from
the devastating effects of the
army that moves against it
from the north, Russia.

But then another development
that will have an impact upon
the world's stability will
happen.

The people will decide to
build a new temple.

With America out of the pic-
ture in the last days; Or at
least no longer a friend of
Israel's, it is possible
Europe would have an army
that would protect it.

Europe agrees to work with
Israel in return for the
protection of the oil supp-
lies that move through it
on there way to Europe.

Russia would have tried to
invade Israel and the Middle
East a long time ago, if it
hadn't been for the United
States.

So where is the U.S. when this
battle takes place? It is very
possible that America may have
been out of military existence
by this time.

But many agree that it is
difficult to prove that America
has any significance in end-time
prophecy.

Here Israel needs to be cau-
tious who she makes friends
with because a friend today
can be tomorrow's deadliest
enemy.

The United States is about
the only friend Israel has
in the world.

The U.S. has supplied the
money and the machines that
Israel has survived war with,
also has been an economic
partner with them.

The outcome of the battle
detailed in the 38th and
39th chapter of Ezekiel is
very interesting.

The army from Russia, the
north, comes against Israel,
when suddenly, something
happens that leaves everybody
amazed.

Fire and brimstone falls from
Heaven.

God tells us that He will be
the one who ends this battle.
Heavens reaction to this army
destroys it so thoroughly that
it will take seven months to
bury the dead and seven years
to burn the weapons.

Chapters 38 and 39 of Ezekiel
tells of a devastating invasion
that moves from the north by a
person who is called the prince
of Meshech and Tubal.

Here, Russia, ambitious for
world power, decides to move
to the south.

Russian moves against the nation
of Israel with its army: horses
and horsemen, carrying swords.

A plan to descend upon the Middle
East, with deadly intentions to
overcome and possess Israel and
the city of Jerusalem, takes
place.

In Ezekiel Chapter 38:1-2 "And
the word of the Lord came unto
me, saying, Son of man, set thy
face against Gog, of the land of
Magog, the chief prince of
Meshech and Tubal, and prophecy
against him,"

There will be a tremendous in-
vasion of Israel and the city
of Jerusalem from the north.

Ezekiel, in his prophecy, tells
about this time in which God
will breathe life into the nation
of Israel.

This promise is one of eternal
occupation of the Middle East
by them.

We are living in an era of the
world that is more prophetically
stirred than ever before.

Jesus said to watch Jerusalem,
that it would be "trodden down
by the Gentiles, until the times
of the Gentiles be fulfilled"
Luke 21:24

It has been and now is not.
It is now occupied by Jews.
The army that is there is the
army of the nation of Israel.

Looking at recent history, the
Jews have gathered into the
land of Israel.

They have returned from a
hundred nations around the
world.

This is a fulfillment of
prophecy!

Israel has been regathered and
is a nation again. It has force
in the world and has plans for
its future.

Keep an eye on the nation of
Israel, because we will find
that the Gentile future is
involved in that nation too.

This is also a great time to
be watching Jerusalem!

Just saying, imagine a nation
scattered, that had no official
existence for 2,000 years, and
it becomes a nation again.

It would take God to do that!

It has never happened, never,
with any other nation of the
world.

But Israel, reorganized as a
nation again, and Jerusalem,
no longer trodden down by the
Gentiles. We are watching the
beginning of the end of history.

That is what the Bible says.

It's been an amazing thing to
learn about and continue to
see Israel fulfill prophecy.

Ezekiel predicted that Israel
would be scattered across the
world into all the nations on
the Earth.

But then he predicted that
like a valley of dry bones,
Israel would come to life
again, be gathered from the
ends of the world, to become a
realized nation again.

When we see the Jews return-
ing to the Holy Land, that's
the time to look up, because
our redemption draws near.

Watch Jerusalem! Watch the
history of the state of
Israel! Keep an eye on what
they are doing!

The more we see what is hap-
pening in Israel, [fulfilling
Bible prophecy] the closer we
are to the return of Jesus
Christ.
