Even those Christians who do pass through
physical death, it is a minor experience.

The Bible tells us that because of the death
of Jesus, we have been delivered from the
fear of death; even though through fear of
death, we were all of our lifetime subject to
bondage (Hebrews 2:15).

Jesus when He died on the cross, took the
awful experience of death to Himself, that
He might give the thrilling experience of
eternal life to everyone who believes in Him.
". . . .Jesus Christ. . . .hath abolished death,
and hath brought life and immortality to
light through the gospel,"
2 Timothy 1:10

Jesus Himself said that He was the resurrec-
tion and the life. He said, "whosoever liveth
and believeth in me shall never die"
John 11:26. That expression is literally,
"shall never never die forever and forever."
So Paul is telling us that a whole generation
of living Christians will bypass death, and
will go straight to Heaven in their physical
bodies.

What a marvelous event!
Paul speaks of it "But I would not have you
to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as
others who have no hope. For it we believe
that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the
Lord, that we who are alive and remain
unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede
them who are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God, and
the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we
who are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the
Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with
the Lord.
Wherefore, comfort one another with these
words," 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
There is a special group in the world called
the Church, the Body of Christ.

The Church has a very different destination
from what will overtake the rest of the world.
It is pointed out in the Bible that one day
Jesus is going to come back and take us to
Heaven in our living bodies.
