God "committed the oracles of
God" to the Jews. They were to
also be the channel which God
would send the Messiah.

Jesus was born a Jew, but He
was the Son of God the Father.

Joseph was not His father but
Mary was His mother.

And Israel was the nation by
which the Messiah came to pass.
So Israel has already been a
great blessing to the world.
