Jesus was the King of the Kingdom, but they didn't recognize Him.

When Jesus used the words "the kingdom of God is within you," He wasn't referring to something mystical. The kingdom of God is within every person.

He was telling the Pharisees that the kingdom of God was right in front of them. He was standing right in front of them, but they couldn't see because they were spiritually blind.
